Wills and Probate

Unlike death, planning for it is avoidable. There are lots of loose ends and complications you can leave behind after you pass away, which have dramatic impact on your loved ones and their future wellbeing.

(Talking about matters such as receivership, powers of attorney, inheritance tax or discretionary trusts can be distressing for those left to cope with your affairs.)

Regardless of your age, avoid this situation and let us advise you on making a good Will.

Alternatively, if someone in the family has died, speak to us about the best way of proceeding to administer their estate in the best interest of the beneficiaries, whether or not you are the named executor.

Probate is never a palatable topic but it needs to be faced all the same. There are financial and emotional matters at stake here and putting them off will not put them away.

Talk in confidence to Francis Durrant on 01223 417200.

N.B. Unlike many solicitors we don’t make our charges based on a percentage of the value of an estate, but purely on the amount of work we do.
