Peter Ayling, Trust and Estate Practitioner. Lived and worked in East Anglia for last 30 years, having trained in London and initially working on the South Coast. Joined Barr Ellison in 2003. Specialises in Probate and assisting with Wills, Trusts, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters.

Ed Bailey
Ed is a qualified solicitor with a particular interest and expertise in IP/IT and Internet law. Before qualifying, he worked in business development for a major multinational in Paris and ran his own communications agency.

Judy Curtis
Judy Curtis, Tax Assistant, joined firm in June 1987, having previously worked for the Inland Revenue for 11 years.

Michael Denmead
Michael is an experienced business analyst and a specialist commercial property solicitor. Having lead a property team which fulfilled the due diligence in a successful buy-out of a chain of 100+ pubs, Michael has developed a penchant for large transactions. The bigger the better. In addition to his legal credentials, Michael has a Masters in Business Administration.

Francis Durrant, Solicitor (qualified 1986), joined firm in 2000. Team leader specialising in Wills, Trust and Probate matters. Member of Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Judith Greensitt
Judith Greensitt, Solicitor, qualified in 1974. Joined Barr Ellison in 2003. Specialises in Wills, Inheritance Tax Planning and Probate. Member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners.

Jeff Harrison
Jeff Harrison, Tax Executive, joined the firm in 1985 having previously spent 20 years with the Inland Revenue including 10 years as one of HM Inspectors of Taxes. Specialises in Tax Investigation work.

Beverley Henderson
Beverley Henderson, Solicitor (qualified in 1985). Originally from Derbyshire, she has practised in various areas of the country, before choosing to settle with her family in this area 10 years ago. She is a team leader specialising in residential property and related matters.
Interests: Entertaining friends and family, reading and shopping!

Sarah-Jane Herron
Sarah-Jane Herron, Probate Legal Executive. Joined the firm in 1999 and became a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in June 2008. Sarah-Jane has chosen to specialise in wills and probate matters.

Denise Macrow
Denise Macrow, an ex Inland Revenue Manager in Cambridge, joined the firm as a Tax Assistant in 2007.
Interests: Denise runs a small antiques business specialising in ceramics and porcelain
Charlotte Mallett
Charlotte joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 2006. Charlotte has a Geography Degree from Exeter University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law in London and has completed a Legal Practice Course.

Helen Murphy
Helen Murphy, Conveyancing Legal Executive. Joined the firm in October 1997 and has over 6 years experience in the Conveyancing team. She became a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in June 2006.

Sarah Payne
Sarah joined the firm in 1993 as a trainee solicitor and qualified in 1995. Sarah is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers and has over ten years experience in general civil and commercial litigation.

Zara Porter
After gaining a Law Degree from Reading University, Zara joined the firm as a trainee solicitor. While she was at Reading, Zara was a volunteer with the Citizen's Advice Bureau and was President of the Arts Society. Zara is a member of the City Rowing Club.

Lorraine Thomas
Lorraine is a trainee legal executive and works mainly in the firm's Commercial Division. She joined the firm in 1999 and became a Member of the Institute of Legal Executives in June 2006.

Liz Whitehead
Liz Whitehead joined the firm in 2008 as a specialist employment solicitor and has a particular interest in cases involving discrimination.
